Personal Artist-in-Residence

 

Accomplished, charming and cultured British artist will make paintings

at your home, inspired by people and location. 

 

The Deal *

You provide:

• Return air travel from DTW and transportation both ways between the airport and your home.

• A reasonable work space, well lit with natural light. A private bedroom.

• Two references.

• A pleasant work environment.

 

For $7,000 per six days* you get:

• At least three frameable drawings.

• One completed painting.

• Options on any other work created during the residency.

• Odorless acrylic paints used, brushes clean with water.

• A considerate guest.

• References provided.

 

Optional:

• Explanations/discussions of the work being created.

• A fun, interactive tour of any local art museum from an artist'sperspective. (Docent experience as a tour guide at University of Michigan Museum of Art).

 

Payment (by credit card)

• $1,000 deposit payable two weeks prior to date of travel. (50% refundable up until 3 days before travel if cancelled by you. Fully refundable if cancelled by the artist).

• $2,500 on day of arrival.

• Balance on day before departure.
